Stay away. Onkyo today is not the brand once was
Circuit boards overheat easily. HDMI inputs become inoperative. I've owned 2 Onkyo 7.2 channel receivers for my home theater. Both lasted about 3 years max with below average use. Even added fans small fans behind the second receiver after the first one quit working. The original cd changer, blu ray player and speakers I purchased with the first receiver are still working great! But I won't be purchasing any more Onkyo home theater receivers. Low quality!

Stay away!!
Onkyo AV receivers will die after 2 to 3 years. HDMI boards are defective. Google Onkyo failed HDMI boards for proof.
