We literally wore out our old one and needed a new food processor. I love that this one is larger, holds 12 cups and without taking up extra space in the cabinet. I make a lot of salsa in very large batches and it is perfect. The blades chop the onions and jalapeños with ease. I also use the disk to shred lettuce for tacos, etc. The 12 cup size is handy when shredding lettuce or cabbage! (So much easier than cutting.) A head of lettuce is cheaper than buying pre-shred and the head of lettuce last longer than the bags! The lid snaps on. You line it up, snap the clamps down or it won't work. It is easy and keeps you from making a mess! It is easy to use with a pulse button and a continuously on button. I found it rotated the food really well from top to bottom. I didn't have to scrape the top sides to get everything blended in. This food processor is worth the money. I save money every time we use it.Yes I would recommend this to anyone looking for a food processor.

Large chute processor

I bought this processor because of the large chute and the stack and snap design. Does not disappoint. I am very happy with the Hamilton Beach brand anyway. A triple batch of hummus with chopped black olives takes longer to add ingredients than to process and pour into a serving bowl.

I love this kitchen tool. It's easier to use than my last one. The locking lid is much cleaner than the old twist style. The blades are sharp and easy to load in and out. The best part for me is that it was $40 less than the black model. I was going to purchase it elsewhere until that pop-up sale hit. I highly recommend this food processor.
