I loved the fact that this neutralized the pain and gave me relief pretty immediately. It gets intensely hot, so you must be perpared for that, but the cooling sensation also is nice and counterbalances the burn. It makes the overall experience great. I will say that if you have to put it anywhere near your eye,be aware that it will likely cause them to run and feel a bit of a sting from the vapors in the rub. It usually subsides in about 5-10 minutes and is definitely worth it. Even the smell is ok. I do not mind that it is not fruity or flowery. The minty smell is OK.

This cream has been a big help for my nighttime sciatica pain. It doesn't take the pain away completely, but it definitely numbs it enough for me to finally fall asleep comfortably. The texture is great—not greasy at all—and it has a pleasant, mild smell that isn't overpowering like some other pain creams. One thing that made me laugh: Walmart asked me to rate the taste. I've never tried tasting it (and definitely don't recommend anyone do that!), but as far as actual performance goes, it works very well. If you're looking for a budget-friendly alternative to the name brand, this Equate version is a solid choice for temporary pain relief. I'll keep using it!
