I usually cannot eat ice cream

Lactose or whatever kicks my butt, literally. Brutal diarrhea after eating ice cream, cheese cake, milk, etc. Been eating these bars, several per day, for a few weeks now and no mad dashes to the bathroom! Something to do with these bars being "reduced fat". Same effect when I buy similar Hill Country reduced fat bars. I'm happy to be able to enjoy ice cream again. I've tried tubs of different brands of ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream cones (sundaes), etc. All make my stomach churn and then the bloating, mad dash and sick nauseating feeling afterward. For whatever reason, I can enjoy these. These remind me of what used to be called ice-milk bars years ago. Not as creamy as typical ice cream. Chocolate coating is ok. Not especially rich but good enough. The "crunch" is a bit of a stretch. A few sparse kernals of rice. Not like the old crunch bars of my youth. Highly Recommended worth a try if you are lactose sensitive or intolerant.

I was excited about the “value” of these ice cream bars, but it's sort of the Walmart equivalent of a McD's ice cream cone. Disappointing “nonfat” flavor %26 thin chocolate shell that disintegrates quickly. I'd rather pay a little more %26 get something a bit tastier. But, if your goal is to feed a bunch of 10 yr old kids a cold snack, this will get the job done.
