Abu Garcia 6’6” Vendetta Casting Fishing Rod, 1 Piece Rod

I ended up ordering this for my step son who is 10. he was intrested in learning a baitcaster, after seeing me use it and explain how it works. Anyway the reason i got him this pole is, this is my main pole. only mine is a 7 foot med heavy fast action. i got him a 6'6 same thing. i highly reccomend this pole. the vendetta series is very good for its price range. It casts a country mile, far enough to throw a texas rig to the other side of a river here at home, its sensitive, easy to set a hook with a jig or texas rig (first catch on mine, i was hopping a jig along the bottom and hooked a largemouth, thats how easy it sets with 20lb braid to 20lb fluro leader, see pic below of first catch) lure rating is ideal, hitting the 1/4 oz minimum lure on medium heavy power, matching the lure rating of most baitcast reel minimums without bfs. if youre intrested in a baitcasting rod that can do all you want it to for about 100, you found the right pole my friend. i will add pics of my pole, and the one i got for little man. cant go wrong with any configuration of a vendetta.
