The Passage to Asia Soy and Ginger Noodle Bowl is a quick and convenient meal, ready in just a minute with no extra prep. The noodles have a nice chew without being sticky, and the portion is just right. The sauce has a good consistency—not too thick or too thin—so it coats the noodles well. After cooking, the ginger and soy aroma is strong, and the flavor delivers, with a noticeable ginger kick balanced by the umami of soy. My kids really enjoyed it, as did I, which is always a win. Wow - the directions did not lie! Easiest lunch ever to prepare. Simply open the packets of sauce, noodles, veggies and sesame seeds - mix well and pop it in the micro for exactly 60 seconds. No more! The timing is perfect and it cooks up well. Stir a little to blend all and it is ready to eat. The portion is great for lunch, maybe even dinner. There is no meat in this variety, but honestly, it is not missed. The ginger/soy flavor is authentic and I would definitely buy some more of these to keep on hand at work. On a side note - this would be great as a family size entree! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
