Great for a variety of tasks.

I bought this mechanical pencil set about a week ago because I needed a variety of pencils that I could use with different colored lead. I am an artist with a strong bias towards mechanical and technical pencils. One thing that impressed me was the compact solid leather case and the variety of utensils inside. The zipper appears to be strong. The pencils are light but sturdy and the 3 erasers do a good job. (Caveat: The colored lead doesn't erase that well, but the regular graphite does.). The only design flaw I can see, if you can call it that, is that all the lead containers are placed together in the same pocket so it might require some digging. Overall, I'd say it is a very nice giftworthy set for that person who likes technical drawing instruments.
