Bridgestone Dueler HL- Buyer Beware

I love the tires. i purchased a new truck with the Bridgestone Duelers on it. Just purchased a set today. They are quiet, the cabin does not pick up any road noise and they give a very comfortably ride. The bad about the tires they do not hold up very well. I drive mostly local, I do not tow anything and I got 27,000 out of the tires and that is pretty crappy. The Goodyears on my other truck wore a lot better I got 55,,000 out them. But they had some road noise and it was a harsh ride. I contacted Bridgestone but never received anything from them was hoping they would have prorated the tires. We will see how long the 2nd set will last. First time using Walmart for buying tires. I ended up buying the Walmart Plus pkg and ordered the tires online that was easy enough and the plus pkg came with some perks so, well worth the pkg when buying tires etc. The bad is I sent up the appt arrive an hour ahead of time and they checked me in. Started working on my tires and got pulled away from my job to handle walk-ins. Which sort of bothered me I was there at 4:50pm and did not leave until 8:20pm. Plus the mechanic misplaced my lock tool for my wheels. Left it on the back bumper had to scout the parking lot. But finally found it and at 8:35 I was headed home. Great prices, but has a bad customer service game plan.

Confusing scheduling and alerts

Since WM did not have the tires I needed in stock I was advised to order them online from the WM web site. I did so. I originally scheduled my appointment for January 15, not knowing when the tires would arrive at the Cody WY WM, but while in the store a week earlier, I asked that the appointment be re-scheduled to 11 AM on January 13. However, while still in the store my wife reminded me that we had another appointment for that same time. So, I returned to the tire department, explained the situation and re-scheduled for 1 PM on January 13. I was assured that was ok. However, on January 13, at 11:15 AM, I received an email from WM stating I had missed the appointment and would need to re-schedule. I ignored that as I had previously, while in the store, changed the appointment. I arrived at 1 PM and the tires were quickly installed. On January 15, I again received an email from WM stating I had missed my 11 AM appointment and would need to re-schedule. Much of the problem was my fault in changing the appointment dates and times; however, WM needs to correct its process in making sure that once an appointment is re-scheduled all other appointments are erased.
