Great portable sharpener

The sharpener didn't work at first until I realized I had to tighten the screws. I thought it was just another disposable sharpener but it does what it claims: gives a really long and sharp point. It worked so well I brought it in to class to share with everyone. Since it comes with extra blades it is definitely worth the price for its category. Also fits easily in an ArtBin Brush holder.

Great Sharpener

Just got my new sharpener and love it. I have been sharpening my drawing pencils with an exacto knife to get a long point. With this sharpener I get a nice long point on my drawing graphite and colored pencils with ease! Also sharpens graphite in lead holders. It is so cool. Wish I had purchased half a dozen of them! Will recommend for my art students.

Nice Sharpener

Great portable sharpener for getting long sharp points on pencils. I've tried so many cheap sharpeners that gave me dull or weird points that I finally decided to order this one from Jerry's. I'm glad I did because this is now my favorite sharpener. I've only used this for my graphite pencils and it works great!
