This cheese platter is so fancy. I was very impressed with the look and feel. I immediately felt more sophisticated!! I was excited to see the arrival of my new Tasty Natural Bamboo Cheese Board and Charcuterie Platter. My first impression before I opened the box was “Wow, this item has some weight to it!” The photos online make the cheese board look as if it is of a good quality; but the photos don't do it justice! This natural bamboo cheese board, by Tasty, is beautiful! The size is a generous 13” x 13” square so the board can hold a lot of cheese, deli meats, olives, crackers, etc. The natural color of the bamboo looks clean and inviting. I like that bamboo is a sustainable source of building and manufacturing material. The cheese board has non-slip feet to keep the board firmly in place while you slice cheese and meats. The board also has a deep rim around the edges to neatly display and serve crackers. And the Tasty Natural Bamboo Cheese Board and Charcuterie Platter has a hidden bonus - a slide out tray full of high quality accessories. The tray has cut-out shapes that hold each accessory neatly and safely stored in its own custom shaped compartment. First, you'll find four stainless steel utensils with matching bamboo handles. Included is a thin narrow knife, good for soft cheeses, like Brie, or semi-firm, like cheddar; a chisel knife, good for crumbly cheese, like Bleu or feta; a spade for hard cheeses, like Parmesan; and a cheese fork to hold the cheese blocks while slicing and also serving cheeses. But there's more! There are two hefty cheese markers made of slate and two pieces of sharpened chalk, made of soapstone, so you can label your cheeses.
