American Standard Cadet Touchless Automatic Porcelain Enamel Elongated Bathroom Toilet in White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The touchless feature makes this the perfect Toilet for my high traffic guest Powder Room. Even more so now that the Pandemic has arrived. This will make my Guests feel more comfortable in addition to the “chair” height which makes it easier for them to get up when they are done with their business. Additionally, the concealed Trapway makes for all flat surfaces which helps to keep the toilet clean. However, when you do need to clean it, it is so much easier without the nooks & crannies of a Toilet with a non-concealed trapway. Lastly, it seems as if the tank recharges more quickly than other Toilets in my home which makes it ready for the next flush (if necessary) faster. Also, the included slow closing seat insures that there are no accidental loud slams. Changing the batteries is a small price to pay for having a touchless Toilet and I am incredibly happy with the performance so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great looking toilet that is made especially good with the remote touchless flush module. I've had it for about a month now and must say it is really well designed and easy to use; it even helps get my kids to remember to flush! Installation was simple and quick. Took me about 1 to 1.5 hours from water off to water on and required only a few hand tools. It was a little tricky to screw down the wing nuts onto the flange bolts, mostly because of finger access through the holes in the side, but it was manageable and a small price to pay for the hidden trapway look. One piece of advice during install is to check the tightness of the water connections inside the tank before turning the water back on. The house connection to the bottom of the tank was loose and sprayed a bit of water out of the tank when water was turned on, but it was an easy fix. The first thing I noticed after install was the small footprint of this toilet that contributes to its clean. The hidden trapway makes a somewhat unexpected but significant difference to the overall look of the toilet. I thought it would look nicer than the old toilet but I'm pleasantly surprised by how much of a difference it has made. This toilet is also a bit narrower than the "builder standard" toilet that was replaced, adding to the clean look. I think this is mostly a difference in the tank, not the bowl but it makes a big difference. Secondly, the straight/flat surfaces and lines give this toilet a more modern and clean look than it's predecessor. Moving on to operation, the touchless operation is very intuitive, so much so that my 3 year old ran in after install and straight to the new button to flush the toilet. The flush is a bit different because of the larger tank to bowl opening, which gives it some real power to flush and has been able to handle everything that's been thrown. The flush completes very quickly and it's pretty quiet.
