I've had it for a few months now, have used it constantly, and have had no problems with the sharpener not working. Rather than reviewing the iPont sharpener immediately upon arrival, I've waited a few months to see how well it holds up. And it does last. We use pencils in our house, and with two school aged children that are often in need of sharp pencils. The iPont Aura sharpener doesn't break from hard usage, or from dropping. The top of the sharpener is easily released to open and remove the shavings. No mess, and no need to clean up. The box also says that the iPont sharpener is anti-microbial as well, which probably increases its durability. The batteries are easily installable as well, and after 3 months, they haven't worn out. I'm happy to have the iPont Aura battery pencil sharpener. It's an excellent product and highly recommended.
