I got this filter to replace the old original filter, the fit is perfect and installation was a breeze. It has only been in use now for a couple of weeks so it remains to be seen as to whether the quality equals the original brand named filter. The price was better than the brand named product.

This works perfectly with the Shark air purifier. In the past, I have found that the replacements do not fit or function as well as the original. This one does. I also HIGHLY recommend the Shark air purifier! It makes a tremendous difference in my home. You would never know a smoker lives here. Cigarette smoke is hard to dispel but this air purifier cleans the air.

Worth the money

Filter and air purifier work great, I will say the filter does not last as long as it says. Could be because I didn't rotate the filter as it stated every 2 months or because I live in an older building, but the dust is constant, the air quality here is pretty stable in the blue light. I also have a cat that sheds and has dander and it picks up those particles pretty well.
