plastic lids are not durable.

Dissapointed with this purchase. Used it twice and the lid has already cracked. hand wash only, cool food, not dropped. i stack them in my sons lunchbox. we have used another brand for years and those lids have never cracked. this one cracked right in the middle of the lid. positives: the rubber seal works well and stacks nicely in the cupboard. negatives: durability of the plastic lids.

You get what you pay for

I was very happy to get useful glass bowls with airtight lids. I enjoyed them for a few months before noticing the glass becoming foggy and it could not be removed. I wash by hand I never use harsh abrasive on the item, and I never microwave the lids. if a lid seal comes off it pops back on and still it remains air tight. I love the products and the company but this is a product I would not recommend, because the glass is a stain able and of cheap quality. I ordered the rectangle two pack and a larger two pack and loved the so I ordered more. That was before I noticed the entire bottom half of all them stained with a haze. I didn't think glass could stain like that. other brands never have. You get what you pay for with this product. Oh yes the lids do show cracks but has yet to disturb the seal.

Snaps on lids break-do not buy

Don’t waste your money. The lid is plastic with snaps and all the snaps have broken off BOTH lids. Buy a brand with single piece lids with no snaps like a silicon lid.
