Not what I expected

I am very disappointed with this product. I takes a long time to heat up, which is somewhat expected but it does not heat evenly. The interchangable plates are thin and easily scratch the non-stick coating off. You are supposed to be able to stand it on its side. When I did that, after walking into the next room, it fell over. When I checked it out, a piece had broken off the top cover that helps it to stand level when using the griddle. I plan on trying to get my money back but doubt that will be possible since there is not a money-back guarantee.
