The dryer was hot enough to dry my hear within an hour at the highest speed/temp; I wear dreads.It takes a bit to adjust the heigh of the dryer. The dryer has a power switch and 3 dials for temp speed and time. The dryer only comes on when the timer is set. Overall it does a good job.
