did not work right out of the package because the pipe that carries butane from the can to the aerator was disconnected. first time I tried to light it the flame was inside the stove. when I had daylight it was easy to fix and it has worked great since then. The plastic case that it came in was missing one of its latches and the other one fell off shortly after.
