Home Office User Pleasantly Pleased with Auto-Feed Tray
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box, I found it easy to unpack and assemble. I attached the casters onto the unit, snapped the shredder top onto the base, and slid the collection bin into the unit. Having wheels is useful if you want to move it around; however, the benefit is that it makes removing the bin a little easier as it is raised. The large bin for holding shredded paper is a good size enabling me to only empty it once a week. It is fairly quiet when shredding and does a good job of cross-cutting the pages. I did notice that the shredded pieces are slightly wider than my Fellowes 62MC shredder, but still very small. The auto-feed tray is an excellent idea and extremely beneficial as it saves time; I don't need to feed the pages, I can put a stack of pages to shred into the sheet feeder, press the start button, and let it do its thing. There is an access door to clear out jams, but I haven't needed to use it. Continuous run-time is listed under the specs as up to 5 minutes. The manual states up to 7 minutes maximum. I haven't needed to run it for that long as it shreds papers at about 10 feet per minute and I haven't needed to shred that much. The control panel LED's are a nice idea and allow the user to easily identify problems. Overall I have found this to be an excellent shredder and look forward to using mine for many years. Effective quieter shredder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Note: I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. This shredder is a lovely upgrade. It's quieter, completely shreds more pages, and the bin allows for seeing the level of the shredded paper. It worked smoothly on testing multiple sheets and plastic cards. The biggest negative was trying to empty the collection bucket as it's quite large. Overall, I enjoyed using this for my shredding.
Great home office shredder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shred a lot of paper due to running two businesses. I have gone through several shredders due to them not functioning to my satisfaction. The first thing I noticed about this shredder was how quiet it was! It was also able to easily handle bundled documents with ease. The shredder itself is well constructed. A solid bin for the paper to go in. The cutting is also impressive. Very compact allowing great security. I will continue to use this shredder frequently.
