Cosco Kids Funsport Portable Compact Baby Play Yard with Carry Bag, Gray Arrows

I am happily surprised with my Cosco Funsport Play Yard. I have another inexpensive play yard that I use and I was in need of another one for our basement. I was concerned the Cosco Funsport was going to be similar to my Evenflo Play Yard which has lower sides than some other yards. This is less of a concern on the carpet but in the basement it's concrete and my daughter is a climber so high sides are a must. We were using the Graco large square play yard in the basement but it was just too large and taking up much needed space. Now that my daughter is a toddler, I only need her in the play yard for short periods of time to clean-up and load and unload the laundry. The Cosco Funsport is perfect. It's a small rectangle shape with high sides. I love that it has wheels on one side for easy moving around the room. When it's in the carrying bag it's not as lightweight and compact as the Evenflo but still much smaller than a full size square play yard. It's a cinch to open and lock and unlock the sides with a very easy push down middle. The mat inside is a good thickness, easily velcros to the yard and seems sturdy and even under my little ones feet. They even thought to add a pocket under the mat to keep the directions with the play yard. I wish they had a second pocket for the carry bag underneath the play yard for easy storage like the directions. Overall, I love the grey color and pattern and it's working wonderfully for our small space.

I am currently using this for my grandson but I think it would be great for a boy or girl. My grandson is 15 months and he loves playing in it and I use it for his bed when he spends the night with Nana. The bottom pad has a good cushion. This play yard is just as nice and sturdy as the expensive Graco pack n play I bought my daughter. The product is very reasonable in price. Set up can be difficult if you don't use the instructions. They are on the back of the pad. I would not start setting this up without them. Once you read the instructions it's easy to set up and take down. I love that this play yard is so roomy yet folds into this nice small item that fits into a carrying case. It's compact and sturdy so it is a little heavy to carry for a long distance. The material on both the play yard and carry case are very good.
