S.Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water, 1L, 12 Pack Plastic Bottles

I was born and raised in Italy and this is the water we drank in our family growing up. Have been drinking it for 40 years, still love it!

First and foremost, I am not a drinker of alcoholic beverages of any kind. Let's just call that disclaimer one! Secondly, my taste buds, or rather my olfactory senses, went through the Covid ringers! I lost everything but I skillfully regained so much more! Disclaimer two. OK, I have no idea what you or any other drinker of sparkling mineral water expects or wants when they crack open the seal on a bottle. I can only tell you about MY expectations, desires, disappointments, uses, experiences, and even the longevity of the product I purchased. So, here we go! I do NOT like to be overwhelmed with carbonation! However, this case had less than I've enjoyed from this brand in the past. It's also one of the major reasons I reach for “sparkling” mineral water, of any brand, flavor, size, or container. I have suspicions the unusually long shipping distance may have been a factor. Still, bubble water needs bubbles. Enough said there. Mineral Taste - I prefer to taste them ALMOST as an aftertaste. Even if I'm drinking it at room temperature, but definitely when chilled! How should they taste? Light, clean, like S.Pellegrino! Not like a dirty penny, or deteriorating house pipes, not like chemicals or metals. Honestly, it's not supposed to be NOTICEABLE! Refreshment shouldn't be jolting, it should be soothing! This is! So you get the idea of what I think of it, on its own. How about with fluid companionship? I'm not a huge fan of drinking fruit juice. Actually, I love the taste but I don't like being robbed of the fiber! This is why I am a huge fan of my Nutribullet! Unfortunately, all those yummy blended fruits, depending on which ones you choose, can be a little hard to swallow. Uh, because you're basically trying to swallow cold whipped, instead of pressed, jam instead of juice! That's where S.Pellegrino really shines in my kitchen! No heavy mineral taste to clash with fresh blended beets, ginger, lemon, and turmeric. Or maybe cranberry, pomegranate, apple, and tart cherry. That's a great sipping one, using ice cubes made with distilled water or S.Pellegrino, because tap water or even filtered changes the taste. (While you soak your finger tips in vinegar because you forgot to wear gloves and you're now stained purple.) S.Pellegrino even tastes wonderful paired with a tall iced mug of brewed RYZE mushroom chicory flavored with Redmond Limited Edition Chocolate Re-Lyte Hydration Electrolyte Powder. Dude, essentially, it's a fun way to confuse your brain, using your tongue. Chocolate shake? Italian cream soda? It's awesome! Look, it's the perfect answer to thin anything too viscous, especially when you don't want extra calories or uncomplimentary tastes. It's also wonderful for helping you stretch your grocery dollars! It's less expensive than most any beverage and easily added to many without much notice, if any. Or may even enhance it! Even with its little limited fizz issue, there was still enough to help fluff a batch of pancakes. Sorry no pics. 🥺
