Theraflu Soft Chews, Daytime Severe Cold Relief Cold and Flu Medicine, Adult Formula, Apple Cinnamon Flavor, 20 Chewable Tablets​

They did an excellent job of relieving my cold symptoms (which is the top priority), but the taste was highly unpleasant. Typically, I tend to get the liquid form, which has a pleasant enough flavour that (even though it has a medicine taste) there is a sufficient amount of flavour that is pleasant enough to swallow the dose and get symptomatic relief quickly. On the other hand, this product has a couple of serious flaws. First, the texture: if you can imagine biting into a piece of chalk exposed to a high humidity level, turning it into a dry, mushy mess. Second, the flavour; now, if you wrapped the “mushy chalk” with a “candy (type) coating” that tastes like “mothball-infused skittles!” Now I understand the importance of ensuring that medicines resembling candy have a strong flavour that yells, “THIS IS NOT CANDY!” to prevent harm from occurring. 🫣 But even by those standards, this is well beyond what is necessary.. The last thing that ANYONE (dealing) with a cold or flu needs is an added level of sensory unpleasantness! 🤒 I don’t know about you, but I want to feel a “teeny, tiny 🤏🤏 bit” less miserable when fighting a cold or flu. Even if it comes from a “45% less medicinally” medicine flavour! 🤷🏼‍♀️

This works just like liquid TheraFlu and the packets we make tea out of. It’s convenient for travel purposes and works quickly. My only negative is that the cinnamon apple tastes horrible.
