Great medicine

I am happy with the Panasonic radio because it has batteries and a plug in cord so it will last a good while. I use it at night to sleep when my arthritis pain keps me up. Music is great medicine. I did not expect to pay $38.99 for it, but have not bought a radio in a long time. It was over the $25.00 to $30.00 i planned on paying, but I saved money on bus fare and on other Walmart items I ordered online to make up the difference. I do not know if the Tariffs made it more expensive.

Great Portable AC %26 DC radio

Auto Freq. Control works great even on AM. Receives AM and FM both without the need to raise the Antenna from our location. Other radios at this location require the antenna to be raised. The signal to noise ratio is great. LED signal indicator is a nice feature. Simple switches ON-OFF-AM-FM. ONE SWITCH DOES IT ALL. No turning on then finding the AM-FM switch. Panasonic thought of everything. Super great sounding radio at a decent price.... Sony beware.

I got the Panasonic because it has always been a good brand. I'm not disappointed. The dial is easy to fine-tune to get the best reception, the display is easy to read, and the sound is really good on both AM and FM. It keeps me company when I'm working around the house. I also like that I can listen to weather reports or the news when the power is out. For people complaining that it isn't a weather radio, it isn't advertised as such. But, most TV stations have a sister channel on either AM, FM or both where you can hear weather reports during inclement or severe weather. I recommend this product if you want a good quality radio with excellent sound.
