i received this item and it had a few chips in the white but it was nothing i couldnt paint over with white acrylic paint. when i assembled the desk the instructions were easy enough to follow. it took me about 3ish hours to put together. when i got to the part of the desk i was supposed to snap the device that let the drawers click in and out, it was very difficult to snap in. i had to get my brother to help. when i put the drawers in, the snaps didnt reach the drawer, so ut didnt click in and out. i fixed it with some dimes and strong tape, so they click in and out now that they reach. 4 stars because it is a beautiful desk but it had a lot of inconveniences especially for the price.
