It can be powered by a rechargeable battery or a Reolink adjustable solar panel, easy and flexible to install. No base station, extra settings, or subscription fees required.

Great picture / sound but poor motion detection
Really easy to set up and install. Excellent sharp picture and great microphone. Battery is huge and seems to last forever; have not had to recharge yet a month in. HOWEVER, motion detection not very good. It will not pick up something coming towards it until it is about ten feet away. So I get a picture of the back end of a deer after it walked towards it for like 50 feet. When I am there, it will start recording me as I walk away from the camera, but also will not record me in the distance coming towards camera. I set sensitivities up to 90 and still most days not a single recording. Also get a random error message when I first hit playback "No SD Card" but then it will work after acknowledging that. I guess I'd rather have no events or one or two solid events, than older cameras ten years ago that have every false alarm of leaves blowing. Great sharp picture and sound for checking in live, but very disappointing that it won't start recording events much sooner. Considering the huge battery, and the available solar panel, they should do some firmware update to let it record sooner.
