After putting on the straps to your kayak, be sure to pull the straps tight through the cams. There can be no wiggle room. The straps are plenty long, for any kayak. If you have them tight, the kart will not buckle underneath, like some have claimed. i believe all the problems others have are because they don't install the kart correctly. It is a good purchase for $39.n Just pay attention when installing
