A bathtub drain in an old house we are living would back water up halfway to the knee during a shower. We used the DranoMax once and it helped, used a second time and presto!! I bought this value size Drano for my son to treat a shower drain but, my bathroom sink was draining a little slowly so I didn't think he would notice if I sneaked some to treat the sink till he got around to the shower. I poured a small amount a few times as the drain filled. Then, I left it alone for a few hours. At first, I thought it didn't work but over the next day, to my delight, the drainage went from gulping to flowing. The max gel must be some potent stuff to have worked through the clog over time. Anyway, if anything, it proved it was a value - two drain treatments in one!
