I purchased these nails to attach white PVC garage door exterior weatherstrip. I specifically wanted aluminum nails to avoid rust over time that would mar the weatherstrip and the white aluminum siding around the exterior of the garage door. I drilled a 3/32-inch pilot hole through the weatherstrip and the harder wood of the garage door framing so that I could tap these nails in without bending them. The 3/32-inch hole was just right in terms of being relatively tight to hold the nail and also enough of an opening to set the nails without bending them. One small pack of these nails was enough to install 30 feet of PVC weatherstripping around a one-piece door for a 2-car garage, with the nails spaced about a foot apart on average.

I purchased these nails to reinforce the backboards on two bookshelves . They work a lot better than the ones it initially came with. They are very sturdy and very well made.
