I was looking for something that did a mop's job but without lugging a pail around.,. And I don't like the "Swiffer Jet", bulky, awkward to handle and just does a poor job. This way I can use either the provided pads or purchase the knockoff disposable pads as needed, without dragging out the mop for little spills and such. The handle is very long, but you can shorten it if need too. Easy to assemble and pretty self explanatory in using.
