Please verify our purchases by requiring the exact product in our own words box. I had no problem with these leaking. And yes they turn in firmly because of the "Advanced" gaskets. Please Notice the picture says “Advanced" under the title and above WDS-F27”. So I was looking for that same thing on the filter that arrived last Saturday. My guess is that people on the website ordered filters that did not have "advance". If they did, it was a solid fit and the people who said other wise had received a different filter or did not follow the directions for installing it. It fit perfectly and works perfectly. Yes you have to clear it of 3 gallons of water...as usual before drinking the first time.
