Love our new Summit,,,,,,,BUT

We absolutely love our new Summit grill. The added griddle is one of my favorites. The sear feature works great. My only complaint would be the design to put the propane tank on the scale showing how much fuel remains. It is Way, Way to hard to get the tank on the hook. I need to get on my knees to lift it on. For a grill of this quality and expense it should have a sliding rack that comes out and allows you to do all of the hookup outside of the cabinet. We have a gas fire pit that does that. We have just stopped using the fuel gauge feature which is a shame.

This beast is HOT!!!

Very happy with my new purchase. I am a repeat Weber Summit owner. Our first lasted for many years, but it was time for a new one. Wow! This beast is HOT! Love the new features. Curious why they moved the side burner to the opposite side, but it's just a matter of getting used to that. Nice having the rotisserie built in. The pop up motor and storage for the rod on the BBQ is well thought out. The top burner is insane. When they say sear, they mean it! Great for searing steaks, melting cheese on burgers, etc. Would have been nice to have a more affordable Summit model like they used to. Not sure why they went with only one model after the other line (Genesis) below it. I'm sure it would've been great, but I just felt this one was built far more substantially, and would last longer. Also coming from a summit series I didn't want to go to a lower line after using my other one for so many years. I had the six burner series with side burner and I was concerned that only five zones in this one would not be as hot. Boy was I wrong! This is insanely hot. It will take some time for me to get used to how much hotter this one is than my previous one. I'm sure the old one was just as hot when I first bought it, but after so many years, they don't tend to put out as much heat. The lighted knobs and internal lights are a nice touch. My old model had the plastic lights on the outside on the handle and they constantly suffered corrosion of the battery inside because of poor seals. I feel much more confident that the batteries in this unit, being contained inside the entire handle itself is a much better design. I haven't used some of the other features in this barbecue. I'm not sure if I actually will, but it's nice to have them in case I want them.

Phenomenal Grill, everything cooks even and the upgrades from 10 years ago are great. Extremely happy with everything that this grill can do. The lighting system that is integrated into the handle I love. All stainless steel makes this grill stand of time with the year round weather it will go through since we live on a lake and our winters are harsh. Thank you for continuing to offer such an incredible quality product.
