this was so defective it actually injured me

the handles were such a weak plastic material that they visibility turned white and bowed to the pressure of pushing down on them, which is suppose to be the purpose of their design. in order to cut my apple i had to put pressure around the edges twords the middle, instead of the handles. When doing this the bladed part in the center cut through the plastic and up into my hand causing me to start bleeding instantly. it was very painful, now infected and difficult to bandage properly due to being in my palm.
