This is perfect for things that don't cook that long. You want to keep the glass looking nice without scorching onthe bottom. I personally use it for my tea that only boils for 5 or so minutes. Its fun to see my natural ingredients simmer and float, its like having a picture to match the smell. Its thick enough and just overall satisfying to the eye when cooking. I like it.
