Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Ask a doctor before use if you have: Cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus). Cough that lasts or is chronic such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. Stop use and ask a doctor if cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Great OTC meds for chest congestion!
This Robitussin Max Strength Cough+Chest Congestion Non Drowsy Liquid is just great stuff! First of all, me and my entire family was sick over the Holidays with the terrible nagging cough with the horrible deep chest congestion. We all had the chance to use this medicine and I must say it works really well! There were many different things I found impressive about this OTC medicine...the IMPROVED taste! It really is so much better! It has a really nice berry flavor! The fact that it is NON drowsy was great because this allowed my husband to take it before work. He said it really helped him get through an entire shift! Lastly, it really does exactly what it claims to do...and for me that is most important when choosing a medicine! I certainly will be buying this the next time we need it, and I cetainly would recommend this OTC medicine to anyone that needs relief from bad cough and chest congestion!
