I have a lot of fabric to iron before completing some sewing projects. I used a heatproof ironing mat to protect the table surface. There is also lots of room to accommodate our pastime of assembling jigsaw puzzles. My aunt recently acquired 3 enormous blank canvases to paint. This table is definitely large enough to support even these huge canvases. We have also been purging a lot of items that are no longer needed, and this table will be a handy spot for organizing items for donation and disposal. One of her friends has given her a large kit for constructing a dollhouse, and this table is exactly what she needs to have a designated place to build it without taking over the dining room table. The possibilities are practically endless.
