We got this for my daughter's birthday when she turned 10, and she loved it! She had a bit of a learning curve between the batter and the crepe thickness, but by the end of the first batch, she had the crepes down to a science. She said it was easy to use, but mixing and spreading the crepe batter was a bit tricky. We got it so she could make Japanese crepes, and they turned out great! When she started, she buttered the pan with every crepe, but she said that was too much. By the time she had the crepes working consistently, she didn't use much extra butter
