Mainstays 8-Qt Stainless Steel Stock Pot with Metal Lid

I have purchased at least three of these pots (separate purchases), maybe more. I have a blog where I focus on camping and I use pots and pans that can be used indoors and outdoors. I had a traveling stove, and this item can be used on my portable stove but it may not work well over a fire pit (unless you manage it throughout the time you are cooking). For indoor regular use (and for sanitizing items) this does work well. I was staying in a hotel and I used a hot plate with this product and it worked fine. I boiled tons of water, and sanitized items in the bathroom of where I was staying. I purchased two of these, and I plan to use them to boil protein, pasta and I am certain that you can cook veggies, asparagus, and some desserts fillings in this pot. The pots are sturdy, durable, flexible, functional, and you cannot beat the price so I bought two of them this week. This is a great purchase, and the item may need to be eventually oiled but it is long lasting.

I bought two of these pots to make seven pounds of spaghetti for a youth fundraiser. I am so glad that I did . They were great and I am thankful that I did not get a bigger size. I was able to boil water put noodles in and after cooking drain and use the same water to do another batch while using the other pan as well, Appreciate Walmart and the hard working employees!
