Never thought that I would need gloves like these but I never thought I would have to deal with a blocked main drain either. Thick, heavy and waterproof. Just don't use them with a sewer auger cable unless you want a broken wrist or much worse. Use leather gloves instead. I wear disposable nitrile gloves inside my leather gloves to keep the stink off.
