Holds the baby's head at 3 months. It is not too low on the body when worn. Has fasteners on either side if you want to fold away a side to allow the baby to see out in either direction. Needed a carrier that wouldn't put pressure up under arm pits after my daughter had heart surgery. It was 8 weeks of recovery that certain activities needed to be altered and or monitored. This helped alleviate some of the weight of constant carrying which is absolutely inevitable in these situations for busy moms.
