We hike with a three year old and a 20 month old. We ALL love them!! They are very comfortable, with plenty of adjustments. The kids actually sit in a seated position perfectly. They rest their feet on the bottom bar (if the bar was about two inches forward it would be flawless ). Very quiet as well. works great. our little one in comfortable and looks forward to being in this carrier. the waist strap work fine, not like one of those $400 hiking backpacks, but does its job of keeping the wait to the hims and off the sholders. we use this all the time now. great for hiking around cities as well as trails! would recommend.
