We use this piñata for a back-to-school bash at the grandparents house with 19 kids. It was large enough to fit a bunch of candy, mini toys, mini snacks, like gummy‘s and rice crispy treats. There was enough in there to please all the children. I would just recommend taping, the plastic zip tie at the top to the pen stronger so when the kids are hitting it, it doesn't tear from the cardboard.
