These lights are easy to place, it's easy to cut off the excess you don't need, they last a long time (we've had some we use almost every night for over 18 months) and they are fun. We've used them over cabinets and large furniture as uplighting, as under cabinet lighting, to light the interior of china cabinets, around door jambs to add "Hollywood" lighting to a full length mirror, and more! Once installed have fun determining which color (or no color) you like, and what brightness intensity you prefer. Change it with your mood and/or the season. They are great!
