Bought for my nephew. He loved it! I wish there was an explanation as to why it's recommended for 18 months. I can not see any reason why a 1-year-old can't play with it. Maybe the battery is dangerous? Then, why dont the manufacturer secure the battery better? There are other baby toys with batteries, so I can't figure out why it is dangerous for under 18 months old?
