Jury is out on authenticity

I am not sure this is the latest or manufacturer approved version of this filter. The words printed on it are slightly faded and the numbers are not the same as the original that came with my fridge. However I took a chance and ordered it. It fit just the same as my original. Tip for correct fit: Take a look inside the tube to get the proper line up before inserting the filter. Actually seeing where the holes are makes it a lot easier.
