Great replacement!

My Keurig duo coffee pot cracked as coffee was making (and then leaking everywhere)—I was annoyed that I thought I was going to have to order one (from Keurig), because not only was this the third one I've gone through of theirs, but not having coffee in the morning. I got on my Walmart app, saw this one was $6 and thought it was worth the try. It was delivered same day and is perfect! It's so much better than the Keurig one also (they all leaked everywhere when trying to pour a cup).

The glass carafe of our brand new $75 Cuisinart coffeemaker shattered during cleaning. Looked on line for a replacement and prices were rediculous, ranging from $28 and up. I like to have a spare carafe so I can make pour-over coffee while the one is in the dishwasher. I've already gone through two carafes with glued-on handles that eventually fail, even if you hand wash the carafe. I gambled that this one would work with a Melitta filter holder and it paid off. Even better, filter holder fits with the carafe lid installed. I'm not a Walmart member but the cost plus shipping is less than just about every other 12-cup carafe out there. And it's definitely sturdier with the handle hooked to the bowl on top and secured with a sturdy metal band that can be tightened as needed from time to time.
