Champion Brush Large Beastie Brush Multicolored 8.25in

I've been using these brushes for years and ordered a couple more from SmartPak. Being plastic, they last forever. They're good for getting through winter coats without being too harsh to use on face and legs. If your horse is especially mud-caked, however, you'll still need to curry first. They don't seem as useful for a closely clipped show coat - you could just use a soft brush for that unless your horse is a dirt ball. Since my horses live outside and grow winter coats, I have little need for those uber soft brushes. You can't choose the color, so that's a little bit of a bummer, though the more horses I acquire the less I care about the color of a grooming tool. :) After buying these from SmartPak, I found them cheaper at my local tack store, hence the 4-star value rating.

I bought this brush several weeks ago and absolutely love it!! I will definitely be purchasing more for each of my horses. They aren't too soft, but also aren't too firm and rough on the horse. Awesome product and awesome price! Although I do wish you could get a choice on color combo when ordering online.
