I've ordered an unwrapped stalk of lettuce 3 times recently, and it's always fresh and crisp. It's so sweet, I usually eat the lettuce plain, but sometimes I dunk it in my favorite dip or stuff it. After cutting off the bottom 1.5" or so, I wash and scrub it, let it dry and store it in a zip lock bag in the vegetable drawer in the fridge. The lettuce maintains the 3 attributes for at least a week! Great purchase, even to have it delivered.
