GE Electric 7.8 cu ft 240 V White Electric Dryer

My wife loves 'front-loader' clothes washing machines ... our last was a Kenmore Elite 3 (Made by Bosch) ... it was super quiet, smaller capacity, a very reliable well-made machine. This new GE front-loader has quite a few "updates" for front-loader designs. It has a "MicroBan" impregnated "Blue" silicone 'Door Seal Ring' which addresses one of the most frequent issues that people complain of (the need to wipe water from the older door seals to prevent the possibility of molds forming on the door seal). This new design has a very-very-large capacity, it has numerous advances that very-effectively address delicate fabrics (clothes, exotics, etc.), leaving these items fantastically new-looking and in perfect clean condition. This new design is very energy efficient, quiet, and all-around a very welcome addition to our home!! We still have a fondness for the older KE3 'Bosch' Machine but after 23 years the advances in washer design outweigh the loss ;-)).
