I used it to put up my glow-in-the-dark Stars, unfortunately the person that did it didn't quite understand what I was explaining because I'm a quadriplegic so they put big pieces and you can see it coming out the sides. I recommend cutting it either in half or in four pieces and rolling it up into a little ball and placing it in the center of the star and then pressing the star against the ceiling. but it works wonderful. my stars have been up for a week and have yet to fall

This works marvelously when it comes to hanging up pictures even on textured outdoor surfaces. Have used this personally on outdoor textured wall to hang slightly heavy metal decor pieces and they stayed up.
