We bought this for our 1 %261/2 yr old daughter %26 she fits in it perfectly. I wouldn't expect any child older than 4/5 to fit in it well though. The cup holder is a little small a skinny water bottle would fit in it, but I don't expect her sippy cup to fit in it. We haven't had the opportunity to use it outside yet, but it seems like it's going to be a sturdy chair %26 the canopy in great. It comes with a nice carry case %26 it slides into very easily.
