Battery operated.

It takes batteries, so if your batteries get used, it slows down. I did order a different one for milk frothing and am using this one until it arrives. I will and have used specifically for whipping a medicine that doesn't need to be whipped daily, only monthly so its perfect for that purpose.

great price, but not the best quality

So, i have no clue if its just my frother or its the same for them all, but ive had issues with it staying at high speeds. ive tinkered with it to find what the cause is, like if its a dying battery, the electronics, etc. Its as if the battery is getting pushed out, so the battery isnt being fully engaged, even though its a full battery. And to achieve full speed, you have to squeeze the handle really hard, or have the lid off and manually hold the battery into place. Decent price, but not to sure its a great, permanent option.

I mean, it's ok. Not powerful at all when you start to use it in a coffee or something....it slows waaay down. If it's just in your hand, it works great...just don't put it in anything lol Well packaged, and the first one was broken, so bought another. Not really impressed. Maybe I just got a bad one?!? Like this post, if you like this post :) lol
